Sunday Church Carpool

We’re so glad you’re interested in finding a church to attend on Sundays!!! Being part of a larger church body is important to your faith and reminds us that we don’t only live in a world of college students!

Finding a church doesn’t have to be hard or stressful! There are several local churches that have lovingly partnered with Core and we have carpools to each. Feel free to check out the churches websites and talk to the contacts about their experiences there. You can go to each and every church until you find one that fits your worship and learning style!

If you are interested in joining a carpool, please contact us sometime before Sunday morning so we don’t leave without you! Please meet at the designated times in the Sobrato Parking Lot. Please find descriptions below of each church.

Camden Avenue Baptist Church In the Gospel of John, Jesus said to his disciples, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last” (John 15:16). At Camden Avenue Baptist Church we desire to create a community that will make disciples who will bear everlasting spiritual fruit. For that reason, our mission is simple and yet life changing . . . to spread the gospel, first through ourselves and then through our neighbors, by word, deed, and community . . . to bring about personal changes, social healing, and cultural renewal with the gospel, transforming Cambrian Park, San Jose and eventually the world. We actively do this through corporate worship, small discipleship groups, Bible studies, and community outreach. We recognize the importance of relationships and strive to be a family that displays the love of Christ in our daily lives. Peninsula Bible Church (PBC) is a non-denominational church with a rich 60 year history of engaging worship and relevant bible teaching. We believe that the Bible is the primary place where God's people encounter Him to be challenged, comforted, equipped, and sent out. Our desire is that God's people might be equipped through His word to minister to His world. ekklesia is the college ministry of PBC. Our goal is to connect college students to God, to each other, and to the church. We strive to be a community of people who know each other, enjoy each other, and walk alongside each other through questions, difficult times, and celebrations. We offer weekly times of fellowship before church, regular retreats, mentor relationships, and opportunities to plug in to the larger body at PBC.

San Jose Christian Alliance Church (SJCAC) is a community that welcomes all who want to belong to our family, who are just searching for truth, or want to visit. We emphasize two main things: a deeper life with Jesus and everyone being a missionary, whether here or abroad. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, and love bringing in God’s Presence and kingdom through worship, prayer, and intercession. We welcome you to either one of our Sunday worship services (9am and 10:20am), Wednesday night prayer meetings, or Friday night young adult bible studies. Our college group typically also meets right after the 10:20am service on Sundays. Our heart is to raise up a generation of young people who passionately love the Lord Jesus, and brings His Presence on their various campuses, in the community, and wherever they go.
